Winplot

How to install Winplot in Mac OS X

First, you will need to download:

Open Darwine-x86-1.0.dmg (which should be located in your Downloads folder).

Drag the red folder into the blue (Applications) folder. Darwine will quickly be installed on your computer.

In Spotlight, search for "winehelper."

WineHelper should be the first result; click the icon. A process window will open. While still in Winehelper, click Application > Open

Under PLACES, click your user (cotterphinney in my case), and then click Downloads. Open "wp32z.exe"

You will be prompted to unzip to a folder. Click "Browse..." and in the new window Browse for Folder, click "Desktop."

Click "Unzip." It will tell you whether or not the file was unzipped successfully. On your desktop, a file called "winplot.exe" should have been created.

With WineHelper still open, navigate again to Application > Open, and find winplot.exe on your desktop. Open the file, and you should now be able to manage Winplot on your Mac.

NOTE: I have tested this method using Mac OS X Leopard and only Mac OS X Leopard.
